On October 18, I joined CMUP as a researcher working in the area of algebra. I am an assistant professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (since 2017), and I was a visiting professor at the same university in 2015-2017. I had a postdoc position at the NOVA University Lisbon in 2019-2020 working with Antonio Malheiro and a postdoc position at the University of São Paulo in 2012-2015 working with Misha Dokuchaev. I defended my PhD in 2011 at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv under the supervision of Boris Novikov.
My research interests lie in the area of partial group actions, specifically in partial group cohomology, with their applications in the semigroup theory. I have also been doing research in incidence algebras and (algebraic and geometric) classification of nilpotent algebras of small dimension. Recently, I have become interested in transposed Poisson algebra structures and managed to describe such structures on some specific infinite-dimensional Lie algebras.
