International Workshop on Non-Associative Algebras in Porto

The II International workshop on non-associative algebras will be held at the University of Porto from 29/04/2019 to 03/05/2019. It aims to bring together researchers from around the world, working in the field of non-associative algebras, sharing the latest results and challenges in this field. So as to create a discussion forum for the specialists in this area, we allow long (50 minutes) and short (20 minutes) talks for the speakers to communicate their ideas.

Seminar of Representation Theory and Related Areas: 7th Workshop

The Seminar of Representation Theory and Related Areas was started in 2010 and emerged from an informal seminar of mathematicians from the Maths Departments of the Universities of Coimbra, Lisboa and Porto, with research interests in Representation Theory of Groups and Algebras, as well as Combinatorics.

The group aims to pursue and develop interactions between Representation Theory, Geometry, Combinatorics and other relevant areas. Participation is open to anyone with interests in these and other related areas.

Matrix Theory and beyond

Workshop "Matrix Theory and beyond" will focus on various problems dealing with Matrices, like matrix polynomials, low rank perturbations, completion problems and related combinatorics including applications of Matrix Theory in engineering. The main goal of the Workshop is to show the different ideas and problems, all connected by matrices. Participation is open to anyone with interests in these and other related areas.
