In this talk I will present some models of spatial economies. First of all I will describe how space can be introduced in general equilibrium analysis. Then I will introduce the notion of spatial equilibrium. Finally I will describe how time can be introduced in such structures. Examples of economies involving perfect competition will illustrate the regional convergence issue and New Economic Geography examples will illustrate the emergence of spatial agglomerations. Such models provide applications for mathematical tools as will be discussed during the presentation.
