International Call for a researcher with PhD (Analysis and PDEs)
The Mathematics Center of the University of Porto (CMUP) has opened a call for applications to one research position in Analysis and PDEs.
Research field: Mathematics
Research sub-field: Analysis and PDEs
All official details for this call can be found on the call's pages on the Euraxess webpage and on the FCUP Sigarra webpage.

On October 1, I joined CMUP as an Assistant Researcher working in the geometry section. For the last three years and an half, I have been an FWO postdoctoral fellow at KU Leuven working with Marco Zambon. Previously, I was a postdoc at CMUC working with Joana Nunes da Costa. In March 2017 I got my PhD at the University of Firenze under the supervision of Paolo de Bartolomeis and Luca Vitagliano.
Eliana Duarte was born in Bogota, Colombia. She obtained her B.S. in Mathematics from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota. Afterwards she did a MA in Binghamton University and then moved to University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) where she finished her PhD in Mathematics.
I am Théophile Caby, from France. I am specialized in the study of the statistical and geometric properties of chaotic dynamical systems, in particular from the point of view of Extreme Value Theory. I will work under the supervision of Ana Cristina and Jorge Freitas.
After having studied Computer Science with a minor in Physics and an emphasis on Theoretical Computer Science as well as Programming Languages and Compilers, I started my doctorate in Theoretical Computer Science at the University of Stuttgart, which I finished in 2020.
