Workshop of the Seminar of Representation Theory and Related Areas

November 14 2025

The Workshop of the Seminar of Representation Theory and Related Areas, a series of meetings started in 2011, will be held this year at the Center of Mathematics of the University of Porto (CMUP), in collaboration with the PhD Program in Mathematics PIUDM, a joint PhD program between the Universities of Coimbra and of Porto.

Oscillatory Multilinear Inequalities

Abstract: Integrals involving rapidly oscillatory factors abound. Quintessential examples include the Fourier transform, integral operators employed in the analysis of wave phenomena, and exponential sums. The concept of stationary phase is a central element of the theory.

The Fourier transform can be viewed as a linear operator, or a bilinear form. We focus on multilinear operators, which are less canonical than the Fourier transform and are open to structural questions reflecting their diversity.

GEMS - GEometry MeetingS

This is the fourth of an itinerant series of meetings in geometry (in a broad sense), aiming at promoting and building connections among Portuguese and also international geometry communities.

Details, including abstracts and previous editions are available on the webpage of the event at https://sites.google.com/view/geometrymeetings-gems or https://dg.math.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/lecture_series.
